KATHMANDU: Prime Ministers of Nepal and India, Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Narendra Modi respectively, on Friday stressed new Constitution implementation in Nepal as they addressed a joint press conference in New Delhi. Reiterating that the countries share historical relationships in various aspects, the PMs also stressed that the bilateral ties should be elevated to a new height. Speaking before his guest, Indian PM Modi suggested Dahal to make the Constitution acceptable to all political groups so as to ensure its effective implementation. 'I am confident that under your wise leadership, Nepal will successfully implement the Constitution through inclusive dialogue, accommodating the aspirations of all sections of your diverse society,' he said. Likewise, Dahal said attempts were being made solve issues over Constitution implementation through peaceful dialogues. READ ALSO:

Meanwhile, Dahal said the government under his leadership was deeply committed to strengthening relationship with the neighbours. The duo also agreed to focus on close monitoring and time-bound completion of all development projects. 'We agreed to push for speedy and successful implementation of ongoing hydropower projects, and development and operationalisation of transmission lines,' Modi said. Earlier, Dahal and Modi had held a meeting at the Hyderabad House, where they reportedly discussed continuing bilateral support and improving the relationship. PM Dahal is currently on a four-day state visit to the southern neighbour.
