PM Dahal continues meetings with India leaders

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a four-day state visit to India, on Friday held meetings with various Indian leaders. Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the sitting Home Minister Rajnath Singh had reached the Rashtrapati Bhawan, where Dahal is staying as a state guest, to call on the Nepal PM today. According to the PM's Secretariat, the Home Minister during the meeting appreciated Dahal's role in Nepal's peace process. He also expressed his commitment to support Dahal in his initiatives for peace, stability and development in Nepal, according to the Secretariat. Likewise, the former Indian PM and Dahal discussed various issues of mutual interests. Indian PM Narendra Modi's national security advisor Ajit Doval had also called on PM Dahal today itself. Earlier this afternoon, the Nepali delegation had visited the Nathpa Jhakri Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh.
