Cops mum over Rabin Gurung’s murder

Damauli, September 22 Security personnel have been reportedly refusing to provide information on the mysterious death of Rabin Gurung, 35, of Jumdanda, Bandipur Municipality – 6, in Aanbukhaireni of Tanahun, on Monday. Gurung’s body was recovered at the edge of the road along Prithvi Highway on Tuesday morning. The deceased’s brother Yam Bahadur Gurung has demanded that the culprit be identified and stern action be taken against the guilty. Yam had surmised that it might be a murder committed after assaulting the victim. Rabin Gurung, a jeep driver, was returning home after a dohori sanjh in Muglin with three women and a man on Monday evening, when the incident occurred. According to police, one person has been arrested so far in connection with the incident.
