TAMGHAS: Police arrested a man, accused of committing a matricide, from Dibrung VDC-2 in Gulmi district on Friday. Bir Bahadur Kaucha (41), a local was arrested on the charge of allegedly murdering his elderly mother, Moti (71). He is said to have murdered her with a spade while she was asleep in the house on Wednesday night. A team from the Shantipur Area Police Office arrested Kaucha on the same charge after getting a tip-off, said ASI Satya Narayan Yadav.
