DHARAN: A massive fire broke out in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-9 of Sunsari district on Wednesday afternoon, destroying property worth around Rs 30 million. Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire said that the fire started from a meat shop operated by local Kishor Shrestha due to gas leakage. It had completely destroyed a cycle shop of Krishna Prasad Shakya, meat shops of Rajesh Shrestha, Bhupal Man Shahi and Kalpana Bastola and a bag shop of Abbas Ansari. Locals, police personnel and fire engines worked together to douse the fire.
