KATHMANDU: An electronic short circuit sparked fire at a shop in Durbarmarg of Kathmandu on Friday. Police said a bag and shoe shop operated by Shantimaya Tamang on the ground floor of the Tindhara Pathshala Chhatrabas building had caught the fire today. Police are yet to calculate the loss. A fire brigade assisted by police and locals had contained the fire. Further investigation is underway.
