KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal has said there was no alternative to unity among the three major political parties to ensure meaningful Constitution implementation. Addressing a reception organised by Bhaktapur District Working Committee of the Nepal Intellectual Council  today on the occasion of Dashain and Tihar festivals, he said the effective implementation of the Constitution, the prime need of the hour, was not possible merely by the efforts of the Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Centre. He further accused the two parties in the coalition government of ignoring the role of CPN-UML, the main opposition, in the Constitution implementation process and attempting to push the country into a crisis.
