KATHMANDU: A person died in a motorbike-scooter collision in Majhuwadeurali-5 of Gorkha district on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as the bike's pillion rider Sharan Pantha (45) of Deurali VDC-9. The motorbike (Ba 14 Pa 3533) heading towards Gorkha from Anbukhaireni had collided with the scooter (Ga 8 Pa 6579) coming from the opposite direction at around 3 pm. Likewise, the motorbike rider Sunil panta (21) of the same area and scooter rider Meena KC of Gorkha Municipality-6 sustained injuries. Pantha, who was critically injured in the accident breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Tanahun-based Chhimkeshwari Hospital. All the injured who suffered minor injuries are being treated at the same hospital, police informed.
