Nepal condoles Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej's death

KATHMANDU: Nepal on Friday condoled the death of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who had breathed his last on Thursday, at the age of 88. President Bidya Devi Bhandari today wrote to the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn, expressing 'profound sadness on the demise of the highly revered Thai monarch', the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Minister for Foreign Affairs Prakash Sharan Mahat have also sent the messages of condolences to their respective counterparts expressing sadness on the death, according to the statement.
