JHAPA: Two persons died on the spot when a passenger bus hit a motorcycle at Juke Culvert in Kankai Municipality-2 in Jhapa district along the East-West Highway on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Til Bikram Thebe (55) and Agni Bhetwal (60) of Kankai Municipality-3, informed the Jhapa Traffic Police Office. According to Superintendent of Police Dhundi Raj Giri, the duo were riding on the motorcycle (Me 5 Pa 3873) when the bus (Ko 1 Kha 3596) travelling from the opposite direction hit it. Police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the bus driver for further investigation.
