KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in multiple fraud cases from Kathmandu. Munchan Prasad Barma, a permanent resident of Birgunj in Parsa district, was arrested from a location of Kathmandu Valley yesterday, SSP Bikram Singh Thapa, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, told THT Online. 'We were searching for him after around four to five persons filed a complaint against him, claiming he swindled them,' Thapa said, adding, a fraud case has been filed against him at the Kathmandu District Court today. Earlier on Tuesday, the Court had remanded him to custody for three days. 'We are still investigating if he was involved in other criminal cases as well,' he said.
