3 nabbed for selling and buying stolen items

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons on charge of selling and buying stolen goods from various places of the Kathmandu Valley. The suspects have been identified as Wangden Tamang (28) of Saramthali-9, Kavre, currently residing at Bagbazaar, Suman Tamang (23) of Beg Simle-7, Kavre and Pankaj Kumar Das (36) of Khagadiya, Bihar in India. Police said that Khagadiya, an operator a jewellery shop at Bag Bazaar, was nabbed for purchasing stolen items at cheap rates from the Tamang duo. Police said that they have confiscated two laptops, five cameras, a khukuri, foreign currencies, various silver ornaments and an iron rod from their possession. Police said that they are looking into the case.
