KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan University on Friday held consultation with various students unions on ways to make the Free Student Union (FSU) election, scheduled for February 25, a success. The meeting also discussed on the code of conduct for the FSU election, said TU Vice Chancellor Dr Tirtha Khaniya. 'The election will be held in the stipulated time as all sides are positive to that end', he added. On deciding age bar to run for the election, Dr Khaniya said the TU Assembly will decide on the issue. Disputes are running deep within various student unions over the age limit of 28 years to vie for any post in the election. The FSU election has not been held for the past eight years in the pretexts of several reasons. Representatives from various student unions had attended the meeting.
