PM continues wooing UML for Constitution amendment

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has continued his meetings with the main opposition CPN-UML in a bid to convince the latter for Constitution amendment. Dahal, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, held a meeting with UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and his deputies Bamdev Gautam and Bhim Rawal at the PM's residence Baluwatar this evening, according to the PM's Secretariat. The issues discussed included introduction of a supplementary budget among others, informed the Secretariat. During the meeting, the ruling party had urged the main opposition to cooperate with the government for amending the statute. READ ALSO:
