KATHMANDU: New Diamond Academy on Friday felicitated national volleyball player Pratibha Mali with cash reward of Rs 49,000 for her feat in Maldives. New Diamond contributed Rs 25,000, while Member of Parliament Shyam Shrestha gave away Rs 15,000, Darshan Transport’s owner Arun Shrestha gave Rs 5,000 and locals of Naikap contributed Rs 4,000. Recently, Mali played in the women’s club volleyball in Maldives and helped her team win Maldives national tournament and also became women-of-the-match in three matches.
