Kathmandu, December 3 The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is convening its General Convention from February 17 to 20, 2017 in Kathmandu. A meeting of the RPP work execution committee chaired by party Chairman Kamal Thapa today passed the timetable regarding the date, venue and management of the general convention as well as the report on the timeline and guidelines on the party’s local level election, with amendment. The report was presented by task force coordinator Buddhiman Tamang. The meeting also decided to consult law experts, Madhes-based political parties and party cadres regarding the constitution amendment proposal, concluding that intensive discussions with related sides were needed in view of the gravity and sensitivity of the issue, the RPP stated in a press release today.
