KATHMANDU: An American national was held in possession of a cache of undeclared foreign currencies from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday. Police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Tesbum Tenzin Dorge with passport number 481246154. He was boarding a Nepal Airlines flight to New Delhi while police nabbed him. Police said they recovered an undeclared USD 20,240 and Indian Rs 36,000 as they were hidden in his luggage. Subsequently, Police have sent the suspect along with the seized foreign currencies to the Department of Revenue Investigation, Hariharbhawan for further investigation.
