RAUTAHAT: Police said they have arrested a man in possession of illegal weapons from Bhediyahi of Rautahat district on Friday. Lal Babu Thakur (25) from Sakhuwa-8 of Rautahat district was arrested with an automatic pistol and an empty magazine, the District Police Office informed. Police had held him while he was travelling home from Bhediyahi. Acting on a tip-off, police in civvies had arrested him with the weapons marked 'Made in USA' on them, DSP Nabin Krishna Bhandari informed. Police are investigating into the case.
