KATHMANDU: Major three political parties are holding a meeting to discuss the Constitution amendment bill tabled in the Parliament, in Kathmandu, on Tuesday. Prime Minister and CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal called the meeting with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar this morning, to forge consensus regarding disputed issues of the bill at the earliest. This is the first time that the parties held a joint meeting after the registration of the bill. The major opposition party CPN-UML has been obstructing the Parliament meetings on various occasions to show their discontentment since the bill was tabled at the Parliament on November 29.
