KATHMANDU: An elderly pedestrian died on Tuesday after being hit by a bus in Tilganga of Kathmandu on Monday. Nar Bahadur Basnet (83) of Mainapokhari in Dolakha district lost his life in the incident, according to police. Basnet was critical after being hit by the bus (Ba 5 Kha 692). He breathed his last during the course of treatment at Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital at around 6:45 am this morning. The Gaushala-based Metropolitan Police Circle has impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for further investigation.
