Bhojpur, December 18 Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today disclosed that the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Forum would support the statute amendment bill tabled in the Parliament during a recent meeting. Speaking to Journalists at Biratnagar today, Dahal assured that the forum would support constitution amendment. “Hence, there is no point in suspecting them,” he said. Top leaders of the forum had met PM Dahal and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba yesterday evening. Earlier, the leaders of the forum had argued that they would not vote for the statute amendment bill. Speaking on the occasion, the PM said that forces including the main opposition would join hands in going ahead with the constitution amendment process. Dahal said the government was preparing to first hold the elections of local bodies and then provincial, federal and parliamentary elections while the principal opposition CPN-UML was mulling over holding parliamentary polls first.
