NAWALPARASI: Police on Tuesday arrested three persons in connection to the murder of CPN-UML-aligned Youth Association Nepal leader Durga Tiwari in Devdaha of Rupandehi district yesterday. DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey, spokesperson at the District Police Office, informed that a red Pulsar motorbike (Ba 1 5 Oa 8073) was also impounded over the suspicion that it was used in the crime. Those arrested today are members of the gang led by Manoj Pun, whom police suspected that might have planned the murder. Pun, however, is said to be abroad for last nine months. The bike was impounded from Kanchhi Bazaar of Manigram, around three kilometres south-west of the incident site. A preliminary police investigation suggested that Tiwari was killed over some personal rivalry. Pun, whom police have suspected as the mastermind, was also a former YAN leader. READ ALSO:
