Kathmandu, December 20 CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli today said all political forces who had backed the promulgation of the constitution last year have to once again  come together to end the current political imbroglio. Receiving US Ambassador to Nepal Alina B Teplitz at the UML Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar this afternoon, Oli said the onus of taking the initiative to end the deadlock lay with the government, according to Subas Nembang, deputy leader of UML parliamentary party. “All those who were at one place while promulgating the constitution have to once again sit together to resolve the current political issues,” Nembang quoted Oli as telling Teplitz during the meeting. The US envoy had sought to know from Oli about the 1UML’s obstruction of the House, his party’s views on conducting the three levels of election — locals bodies, provinces and general elections —  within the next one year, according to Nembang. Responding to the envoy’s query, Oli further said that his party was demanding announcement of early elections, and he made it clear that obstructi1on of the House session was against the proposal of demarcating federal provinces against people’s interest. According to a source, the former prime minister also said that Nepal’s political parties were capable of ending the current political impasse through dialogue and peaceful means.
