NAWALPARASI: Thousands of CPN-UML cadres and well-wishers joined the funeral procession of the party's youth wing Youth Association Nepal's Rupandehi district Chairman Durga Tiwari, in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City on Wednesday. The funeral procession was carried out in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City after autopsy at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital. He is expected to be cremated at Devghat later this evening. Meanwhile, the YAN called off the Rupandehi district bandh after the decision to recommend him for the martyrdom. Tiwari was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants on Monday in Devdaha in Rupandehi district. Meanwhile, UML leaders including Deputy General Secretary duo Bishnu Prasad Paudel and Ghanashyam Bhusal, speaking at the condolence assembly, today demanded that the government bring the culprits to book.
