KATHMANDU:  A person died and another sustained critical injuries after being attacked by a sharp weapon at Pashupatinath Area in Gaushala, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9 on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Sonam Tamang (19) of Dharan, Sunsari district, currently residing in Balaju, Kathmandu. Tamang breathed his last during the course of treatment at Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital. Likewise, Bijay Khadka (18) of Bouddha, KMC-4 was critically injured in the incident. Khadka is also being treated at the same health facility. The injured were attacked by a person identified as DK, who in said to be in his mid thirties. Police are in search of the attacker who has fled the scene after the incident.
