Federal Alliance calls to endorse amendment bill pronto

KATHMANDU: The agitating Federal Alliance on Thursday demanded that the Parliament immediately endorse the Constitution amendment bill. The bill is awaiting the tabling at the House as the main opposition party CPN-UML has been obstructing the Parliamentary business protesting the proposal. A meeting of the Alliance held on Thursday made a decision to this effect, according to a statement issued by the FA Coordinator and the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav. Meanwhile, the bloc of agitating of pro-identity Madhesi and ethnic parties slammed the UML for obstructing the discussion on the amendment bill. The UML move weakened national unity and pushed the nation towards an indefinite civil war, it claimed. READ ALSO:
