KATHMANDU:  Mahabir Pun, a recipient of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award, has called for support, both financial and idea-wise, from people in order to set up a National Innovation Centre. Speaking at the Joy of Giving, a musical charity event organised by Premier International IB World School coinciding with the festive season of Christmas in Khumaltar, Lalitpur on Friday, Pun said that the Centre would help curb the outflow of human capital from the country providing them with the platform here itself. The event participated by students and parents community of the school was organised to support Pun’s venture of setting up the Centre. The programme also featured Christmas carols  apart from performances from parents and students. In the function, the school informed that it would later hand over Pun the charity amount collected from the event.
