Rastriya Prajatantra Party forms Central Election Committee

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has formed a 15-member Central Election Committee with the party Vice-chairman Niranjan Thapa as its coordinator. The Committee is formed for the purpose of the upcoming general convention of the party. The Committee has been tasked with fulfilling all the responsibilities required for the general convention and coordinate various professional organisations of the party for the convention. The RPP is holding its general convention from February 17 to 20, 2017 in Kathmandu. The RPP Central Work Execution Committee meeting chaired by party's Chairman Kamal Thapa has also made a decision to convene the plenary meeting of the Central Working Committee in Kathmandu on January 16, 2017, party spokesman Rajaram Shrestha said.
