Sexagenarian killed in Pokhara microbus hit

POKHARA: A woman was killed after being hit by a microbus at New Road in Pokhara of Kaski district this morning. Police identified the deceased as 60-year-old Rubina Gurung of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City-9. Gurung was hit by the passenger microbus (Ga 1 Kha 3752) heading towards Prithvi Chok from Chipledhunga in Pokhara. DSP Khadga Khatri said seriously injured Gurung died while undergoing treatment at the Pokhara-based Gandaki Medical College. Meanwhile, police have rounded the bus driver for further investigation.
