KALIKOT: Two persons were killed when they met with an accident involving a tractor along the Karnali Highway at Hulma Bazaar in Bharta VDC of Kalikot district on Sunday night. Police have identified the deceased ones as Prem Nepali (18) of Manma VDC-2 and Devi BK (21) of Manma-4 in the district. The incident took place when Nepali, also the helper of the tractor driver, attempted to drive the tractor (Lu 1 Ta 5722) being parked at the roadside, according to the District Police Office, Kalikot. Police have taken the owner of the tractor, Devmani Acharya, under their control for further investigation into the case.
