KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Aakash Pal and Sajan Nepali entered the men’s 50kg weight category semi-finals of the third Sagarmatha International Karate Tournament that began here on Wednesday. Likewise, Nirakar Man Pradhan and Ashish Pal secured last four berths in the men’s 55kg section. A total 900 players from Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan are taking part in the tournament that has a total of 28 events. Earlier, Energy Minister Janardan Sharma inaugurated the tournament which is organised by Naxal Dojo of Nepal Shito-ryu Karate Do Association.
