Two held with red panda hides from Jorpati

KATHMANDU: Police said two persons were arrested in possession of two red panda hides from Jorpati, Gokarneshwor Municipality of Kathmandu. The suspects have been identified as 29-year-old Pritam Tamang of Balekhu-2 in Okhaldhunga district and 25-year-old Sambhav Waiba aka Deni of Tamajor-2 in Sindhuli district. Acting on a tip-off, a special police team from the Central Investigation Bureau arrested the duo from Nayabasti of Gokarneshwor Municipality-12 on Friday. Meanwhile, police have sent the suspects to the District Forests Office for further investigation and action today.
