PM in UAE stresses Kathmandu-Madhes interconnection

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal stated that imagining Kathmandu without the Madhes region was 'impossible'. PM Dahal, who is in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates to attend the World Future Energy Summit 2017, stated that 'Madhes and Kathmandu are closely connected', while interacting with the Nepalis living there. Also in the interaction, the PM said, 'Our first duty is to ensure that Nepal is safe from any kind of polarisation.' Referring to skyscrapers in Dubai, PM Dahal stated that Nepal had a 'natural skyscraper' in the form of Mount Everest, adding that he eyed to develop Nepal like Dubai in the near future. He also promised Nepalis living there that the government would provide them any help they needed. READ ALSO:
