Bhrikutimandap exhibition hall booked for RPP convention

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has booked the exhibition hall at Bhrikutimandap of Kathmandu to hold its first national general convention after the merger of two parties. The convention would be held on February 17-20. The inauguration would be held at the Exhibition Road while the closed-door session at the hall, according to the party spokesperson Rajaram Shrestha. A 501-member main organising committee and 12 sub-committees under it are preparing for the convention. Currently, the party is holding local level conventions. The Pashupati Shamsher Rana-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal had announced the merger in November last year.
