JHAPA: A minor girl, who had gone missing after a wild elephant attacked her and her mother on Monday, was found dead at Bhadrapur Municipality of Jhapa. The victim is identified as 13-year-old Sharmila Limbu, a local resident, informed the District Police Office. Her body was found by a joint team of District Forest Office, DPO and locals. Limbu along with her mother, 45-year-old Palmaya Limbu, had gone to the nearby Mayalu forest, around one kilometre west of the settlement to collect firewood. Palmaya's body was found yesterday. Whereabouts of Sharmila, however,  was not known, according to police.
