Jhapa, November 9:

Locals of Jhapa are apathetic towards the municipal polls, which are scheduled to be held on February 8. In addition, the Office of the Election Commission in Jhapa says the Election Commission has not given any directions to it regarding the polls. The office said no discussion has been held with the parties regarding the elections. The office is updating voters’ lists in village development committees of the district and performing other regular tasks.
