KATHMANDU: A leopard strayed into a human settlement in Panga of Kirtipur on Wednesday morning, pushing locals into a state of terror for hours. According to police, the leopard was spotted at around 7 am today. Police added that the wild cat has not harmed anyone. Authorities have reached the site and are trying to take the animal under control, police added. Police said it was still unclear where the big cat had strayed from. Last year on January 22, a leopard had wandered in a Kirtipur settlement and attacked a man. Kirtipur is near a wooded area and wild animals occasionally enter houses in search of food. READ ALSO:
