A new series of Big Brother has hit the Czech Republic but this time the contestants aren’t humans — they’re gorillas from Prague Zoo. Sixteen cameras have been set up in a pavilion housing four of the creatures — adults Richard, Kijivu and Shinda plus baby Moja. Fans — who can track the gorillas’ movements 24 hours a day on the Internet — are voting for their favourite. The winner is getting 12 melons as gorillas love the fruit. It’s hoped the programme will help people learn more about gorillas.
