INARUWA: Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashanka Koirala has directed the party leaders and cadres to prepare for local bodies' election. Addressing a gathering of party cadres at Inaruwa on Friday, the NC leader said that incumbent government would hold the local election and asked the cadres to be ready for the same without any doubt. He also urged the party cadres not to harbor suspicion on fresh election adding that country will plunge into crisis if elections were not conducted. On a separate context, he claimed that there was no groupism in the NC though it existed ahead of the party's general convention. In contrary, NC Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs had said, the government would announce the polls date only after the constitution amendment, at a programme organised in Nawalparasi today.
