CHITWAN: Former King Gyanendra Shah and Queen Komal Shah reached Meghauli of Chitwan on Friday, reportedly to celebrate the 66th birthday of the Queen. The former royal couple would be staying at the local Barahi Hotel tonight. Meanwhile, members of the public gathered in Chaubiskothi of Bharatpur to welcome the King and the Queen to their district. Former King Gyanendra himself had driven the car escorted by security personnel.
