DAMAULI: Police said a woman reportedly committed the suicide by jumping off the Seti bridge in Damauli of Tanahun district, on Thursday. Police identified the deceased as 83-year-old Bishnu Maya Shrestha. 

DSP Surendra Gurung said Shrestha was rescued from the river, but died while undergoing treatment at the Pokhara-based Gandaki Hospital on the same day. Meanwhile, police said the motive behind her suicide is yet to be known.
