Bhaktapur brick kiln owner robbed at gunpoint from home

KATHMANDU: A gang of five to six persons barged into a house in Libali, Chyamasing of Bhaktapur brandishing a pistol and robbed Raj Kumar Lakhemaru, a brick kiln owner, of at least Rs 7,65,000 and other valuables on Monday evening. After the heist at around 7:30 pm, the motorcycle-borne robbers, who were masked, fled the scene, the Jagati-based Metropolitan Police Circle said. The 48-year-old victims runs a brick factory in Tathali of Bhaktapur. The robbers took away two mobile phones and a walkie-talkie besides the money from Lakhemaru's house. READ ALSO:
