Chitwan man gets killed by tiger while shooing wild boars

CHITWAN: A local farmer, who went to shoo off wild boars from his banana farm, was mauled to death by a tiger in Divyanagar area of Chitwan on Tuesday. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Bhim Chapagain, who hailed from Padampur and was currently living in Divyanagar of Chitwan. Chapagain had encountered the tiger when he was chasing away the wild boars at around 4 pm. The wild cat attacked the man and dragged him 2 kilometres away into the wild, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. His body was found at around 5:30 pm.
