Won't let House pass Constitution amendment bill, vows Oli

SINDHULIMADI: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli today said that his party would not let the Legislature-Parliament pass the Constitution amendment bill for it was against people's will. 'CPN-UML supports the nation and nationality. We will not let them pass the bill, mind you!' he said inaugurating an event organised in Sindhuli today. Oli further accused that the amendment proposal was a ploy against the local level elections scheduled to be held on May 14. 'There is no relation between the Constitution amendment and the local body elections. Both are not at all related,' stated the main opposition leader. Claiming that the new Constitution was promulgated due to the CPN-UML initiative, the former Prime Minister stated that the party would not step back now, come what may. READ ALSO:
