LAHAN: A woman died after she was attacked by a buffalo in Aurahi Pipra VDC of Siraha district on Friday. The deceased woman has been identified as Musarni Devi Sah (65) of Aurahi Pipra VDC-1, informed police. Police said the male buffalo had gored Sah while she was in her house and left her critically injured. She was being rushed to a hospital for treatment when she breathed her last, said the Siraha District Police Office. Meanwhile, another local 40-year-old Anita Chaudhary sustained injuries when another buffalo attacked her near Dhodhna stream of Lahan in the district. Chaudhary is receiving treatment at the Friends' Model Hospital.
