Sutali bomb defused at Rautahat fuel station

GAUR: A sutali bomb found planted at a fuel station in Sarmujwa-8 of Rautahat district has been defused by a Nepal Army team on Saturday night. Some unidentified persons had planted the explosive at the Om Oil Trade Concern in Bangkul Bazaar, Sarmujwa-8, police said. Locals had spotted the bomb and informed police. Later, the Purenawa-based Amar Dal Brigade of Nepal Army defused the bomb, informed ASI Rameshwor Thakur. Police said investigations were underway to find out who planted the bomb for what. Local traders had been rendered panic-stricken after reports of the bomb planted spread wide.
