RAJBIRAJ: Locals have been terrorised by a socket bomb kept by an armed outfit at a school in Rajbiraj-9 of Saptari district on Tuesday. The Jaya Krishna Goit-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Revolutionary) took the responsibility of planting the explosive at the school. The bomb was kept in front of the gate of local Peace Zone Boarding School. The group had targeted the school as it disobeyed the party's announcement of bandh on December 8 last year, mentioned a press release issued by the Morcha coordinator Goit. Meanwhile, the school closed today after the bomb was noticed. Security personnel had been mobilised to defuse the explosive. In the past three months, the armed group had also targeted the District Police Office, and houses of two locals in the district.
