KATHMANDU: A person died after being hit by a night coach in Amlekhgunj VDC-8 of Bara district on Thursday. The deceased who appears to be in his 40s is yet to be identified. The bus (Na 5 Kha 7564) plying the East-West Highway knocked down the pedestrian killing him on the spot at Adhabar, at around 8:30 pm yesterday, according to Amlekhgunj-based Area Police Office (APO). Meanwhile, the APO has impounded the vehicle and detained its driver for further investigation.
