KATHMANDU: Bishnu Bhandari won the title of the Gokarna Annual Caddie Competition here at the Gokarna Golf Club on Tuesday. Bhandari carded 10-over 82 to register a one-stroke victory over Narayan Chaulagai and Krishna Murari Sapkota, who shot 11-over 83. Bhandari received the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 16,000, while Chaulagai and Sapkota earned Rs 9,500 each. Parmendra Singh and Sumber Shrestha shared the fourth position with the score of 16-over 88 and received Rs 6,000 each. Bharat Thapa Magar finished sixth at 17-over 89, ahead of Deepak Rana, Balaram Poudel, Devendra Pandey and Basudev Pudasaini.  Krishna Murari Sapkota won the closest-to-the-pin and Bharat Thapa Magar got the longest drive awards. A total of 23 caddies took part in the tournament. Senior Golf Director of Gokarna Forest Resort Deepak Acharya and professional golfer Pashupati Sharma gave away prizes to the winners.
