Drinking water project of Rs 280 million in Besisahar

LAMJUNG: A mega drinking water project of Rs 280 million will be implemented in Besisahar, the headquarters of  Lamjung district. The Besisahar Drinking Water and Sanitation Users Committee took the initiative for the project. The Committee shared that project was initiated on the co-funding of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation and the Drinking Water and Sewage Department. The Committee Chairperson Krishna Lal Pradhan said the users would invest 30 per cent of the project's total estimated cost along with their in-kind labour. He informed that the technical preparation of the drinking water project was completed. The drinking water project would be completed in three years.
